As a passionate storyteller and self-starter, I bring my dedication and initiative to produce detailed content in collegiate athletic communications.
At UC Santa Barbara Athletics, I assist with producing previews, recaps, weekly award announcements and schedule releases across all 19 Division I sports with an emphasis on men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s volleyball, women’s soccer and women’s basketball. Please find my samples below.
In May 2025, I will graduate Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University with my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science. My senior thesis focuses on the evolution of NIL and the impacts on Title IX in regards to NIL collectives across Division I institutions.
Although sports have been in my life for as long as I can remember , my passion for storytelling in athletics began my first year of college when I traveled to London to produce a documentary on racial disparity in English Premier League football. As a social media ambassador for Northeastern, my content progressed to a short-form format in the collegiate athletics space the following year during the 2023 Frozen Fenway collegiate hockey showcase and ultimately the 2023-2025 Beanpot Hockey Tournaments. I completed two full-time co-ops while at Northeastern; my second co-op with UCSB Athletics led me to my current role as a Communications Assistant where I write previews, recaps and press releases and provide social media updates for the spring sports.
